The Modbus 2 driver, supporting
Modbus/TCP on the PCD7.F650 IP-Module is now available.

If you search for more information about the various Modbus protocols visit
the Modbus organization site at www.modbus.org.
When you will build up your first Modbus/TCP installation, you may whish to
test the Modbus driver in the PCD first. You can find a very useful test
software, called ModScan32, for few money by Wintech at www.win-tech.com.

A Modbus/TCP FAQ document has been created at www.engiby.ch/modbus/tcpfaq.htm.
If you have questions about this driver don't hesitate to contact us. Extending
the FAQ document will be appreciated by everybody.

The driver is available in form of a Fbox library for Fupla. It opens a Modbus Slave channel and allows Master devices to read and write all Inputs, Flags, Registers and Counters in the PCD. The library is delivered with an installation program and includes it's description in a Windows help file.

The driver is delivered with a license valid for PG5 version 1.1.xxx. The
number of realized applications is not limited.
If you have a license version 1.5x you can get the Modbus/TCP version for a
special price.
If you have an earlier version, first update to the latest 1.5x version.
