This is a special edition to announce the issue of the S-Bus TCP/IP driver for applicom card.
S-Bus TCP/IP for applicom card.
The driver is made for the applicom PC card PCI2000ETH. The applicom card offer an universal interface for supervisor through a DLL library, DDE or an OPC Server. The driver supports the Client and the Server functions for the S-Bus TCP/IP protocol.
Over the applicom card, the supervisors can access all PCD variables (Flags, Registers, Timers, Counters and the Clock) by Read and Write access.
The Server function allows Master PCD to spontaneously send data to the PC. This possibility replaces the polling principle and allows to reach excellent reaction time even by large amount of data points. The PCD is able to send new data or messages only once at the optimal time.
Using the Engiby Configurator, the data transmission can be easily configured by using the optimal mode (Cyclic, Single or Automatic on value change) and by defining a priority level (Low, Medium or High) for each data package.
