ESPA 4.4.4
Short description
ESPA 4.4.4 is a standard protocol adopted by the European Selective Paging Manufacturers Association. It is intended to exchange massages with paging equipments. The PCD Driver supports both, the receiver and the sender functions. In both cases, the messages with associated alarm flags are listed in an Excel file and compiled by the NG-Configurator. As sender, the PCD can issue messages associated to alarm flags. The following parameters are specified and send with the message: - Message text - Pager address - Beep code - Priority Further parameters can be added on request. As receiver, the driver reads the transmitted messages, search for a matching entry in the list and set the corresponding alarm flag. The Extended function family allows you to build a real message handler with filter and routing features. Several ESPA ports are supported. Massages can be routed from on ESPA port to another ESPA or send as SMS. Filters can be defined and changed in runtime to forward messages or not based on their origin, priority and/or originator. This extended version need also an extended license.
