This driver allows you to connect Saia PCD® systems to SCADA using the IEC 60870-5-104 protocol. The Saia PCD® is configured as Remote Unit while the SCADA is supposed to be the Monitor system. The common mechanisms like Clock Synchronization, General Interrogation, Counter Interrogation are supported. The driver kernel is designed as an FBox for Fupla. The data points in the Saia PCD® can be configured in an MS-Excel file and directly compiled into Saia PCD® code by the NG-Configurator. The license mechanism is based on runtime keys depending on the Saia PCD® hardware. The price for the FBox library and the Add-On tools is included in the Basic Software License. On request a personal Internet account can be open as to allow you to generate your key yourself at any time. For large applications please ask for the Large Account license model. Because this protocol needs some particular knowledge to be correctly set up, we strongly recommend you to order also a training and test with your SCADA (including the use of test and trace tools).
